Project: Princess of Wales Hospital - Panel Upgrade

End User: Abertawe Bro Morgannwg Health Board
Within this project ADC Fire Systems Ltd was specified by the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg Health Board, and employed by the main contractor NG Bailey.
The project brief was to design, supply and commission the upgrade of ten of the older addressable control panels and fire devices within the Princess of Wales Hospital.
The project which lasted over 3 months needed close liaison between ADC Fire Systems Ltd, NG Bailey and hospital staff.
Project deadlines and specifications were agreed and the project was completed on time, to budget and most importantly resulted in minimal disruption to the Hospital.
The new control panel offers full integration into the site wide Fire and Security network. It also provides full performance monitoring, essential for false alarm management.
Future plans for the system include integration of CCTV, access and the use of a graphical user interface (GUI).
