Bedwellty House Park Restoration

End User: Blaenau Gwent / Bedwellty House
SGD Security and ADC Fire Systems were employed by Mitie Engineering to provide Fire Detection and an Intruder Alarm System at the historic 18th century grade 2 listed building Bedwellty House, situated in the park grounds within Tredegar. Bedwellty House officially reopened to the public in August this year.
SGD Security Ltd provided a security alarm system by installing a Honeywell Galaxy G3 Intruder alarm system.
The Grade 2 Honeywell Galaxy intruder alarm combined provides an insurance acceptable security system with the confidence of Police response to activations.
Working with Mitie Engineering, ADC Fire Systems advised on the type and location of detection for the newly installed addressable fire alarm system, consisting of a multi loop addressable Advanced Fire Alarm Panel with Hochiki Detection and Audible Visual Alarms.
ADC Fire Systems provided information for the end user consisting of equipment data sheets, user manuals, company certification for the works and 3rd party BAFE Certification.
The standard follow up visit after commissioning took place once the building was re occupied and consisted of end user training on the newly installed fire system with relevant site personal present.
