SGD Security and ADC Fire Systems worked with Capper & Co. (South Wales) Ltd to provide Fire Detection, CCTV and Intruder Alarm System at Spar Ross On Wye.
Spar is a global company with 13,600 stores in 33 countries and is the UK’s leading convenience Store Group. Made up of 6 wholesale members Spar employing over 50,000 people in the UK.
SGD Security Ltd Have provided a complete security solution by designing and installed a high end CCTV system utilizing Networked DVR with Samsung Cameras, CDVi access control System and a Honeywell Galaxy G3 Intruder alarm system.
The combination of high end static cameras and Samsung Hi Res Domes provided excellent internal coverage as well as user functionality without great expense.
The Grade 3 Honeywell Galaxy intruder alarm combined provides an insurance acceptable security system with the confidence of Police response to activations. This allows the staff the comfort of knowing that they can work in a safe environment should they need to activate a duress button.
Working with Capper & Co South Wales, ADC Fire Systems installed a Conventional fire alarm system using an Global Fire Orion Conventional Fire Panel with Vision Devices, the system was designed installed and commissioned in accordance with BS 5839 Part 1:2002 +A2:2008 category L2.
ADC Fire Systems as standard for Spar Projects provide comprehensive lever arched O&M manuals consisting of:
- Product information / suppliers details
- User friendly guidance notes complete with a comprehensive log book (NSI issue)
- Zone diagram indicating detector and device location.
With each installation there is a customer training session to ensure site personal are familiar and confident with operation of the fire alarm system.
